OUR EDITORIAL STANDARD

Evidence before recommendations.

A useful recommendation explains who a tool fits, which trade-offs matter, and what evidence supports the conclusion.

Start with the business problem

A CRM for a solo consultant and a CRM for a large sales organization answer different needs. We assess a product against an explicit use case, team size and set of requirements. We do not assume that the most expensive or most popular tool is the best fit.

Separate facts from judgment

Prices, billing units, features and integration availability need identifiable sources and verification dates. Editorial conclusions explain how those facts affect a decision. Unknown information stays unknown.

Scores need a rubric

Category-specific scoring models will define criteria, weights and evidence requirements. Features, usability, value and support can matter differently across categories. Until a model and assessment are complete, a profile displays “Not yet rated”.

Commercial relationships stay separate

Affiliate commission must never enter a scoring or recommendation formula. If an outbound link is monetized, we disclose that relationship near the link and explain how the program works.

Keep the record current

Verified facts need review when their sources change or their validity expires. A last-verified date records evidence review, not the time a page was generated.
